Ready for Adoption Added June 14, 2019
See me at the next Adoption Day!
Erik Jones and his brother came to us from Sonoma hence they are known as our racing boys, not only because where they came from, but they love to chase each other around the yard. Both of them were brought to the shelter with a severe case of demodex (skin infection) and were severly emaciated. They started treatment while at the shelter and their skin is improving and their fur is growing back in nicely.
Erik is learning his manners along with basic obedience. It looks like they were just backyard dogs, with no training or guidance on how to be a good dog. Training will be a must. In the short time he has been in his foster home he has greatly improved.
With proper healthcare, nutrition and structured training Erik will be an amazing boy. He is being crate trained, learning how to walk on a leash and basic training.
Update 9.15.19: Erik was at the Pet Fair all weekend and did extremely well meeting new people and new dogs. He learned some new tricks ans was an all around favorite. He will need some work/caution around smaller dogs, but responded very well to corrections.
Adoption Fee includes spay or neuter, vaccinations including rabies, worming, microchip, and a collar.
